It doesn't — and here's why. We earn commissions from all 9 VPNs we feature, at similar rates. We have no financial incentive to rank one VPN above another. Rankings are determined entirely by our independent test scores.

VPN providers cannot pay for higher placement on JustVPN. We have declined financial offers to move specific VPNs to the top of our rankings.
